Cambiamenti -- Changes...

From today onwards I blog in Italian language, because, after a look at google stats, I realized that the most of my reader are from Italy. I also manteining the english language for visitor from other countries.

Yuppy!!

Here is My belly, isn't it sweet?! tomorrow I will be at the begins of 4° month!

I have recently back to the sewing machine, just a little day, no more than half an hour to tell the truth, to not harm the baby, given the initial problems; I also picked up to do patchwork, I had almost forgotten and thanks to a My friend Irene, who is very good and from who I had this wonderful fuzzy owl bag, I decided to make a similar one, with the wool felt application, inspired by a realization of Marianne of the cinnamon patch, for my daughter's boyfriend. I like a lot how it is coming out!

On retard of one week, finally I'm going to show you the wonderful gift I received from Meltemsem for the Secret Easter Bunny organized by Mitsy of Artmind! Thank you so much Meltem, you spoiled me a lot!!
I was the Secret bunny of Huismus, she blogged about what she received from me here in this post.

A similar pair of earrings are still available on her shop!! check it out!

Finally in order to remain patchwork theme, last week I started a new adventure, I have designed and tested some paper piecing blocks for making up a miniquilt! The blocks are already given by this week on the official site of Giusypatch as a block of the week, with the title Paper Piecing Houses. Follow the "notizie" on the right bar menu of the site. Mine is already basted and ready to be quilted :) I am proud of me!

Happiness

It's more than a month from the last blogpost, now, if you check the #13 of that post, you will know why I was off for all that time...... :))

I didn't know when I wrote the "16 things about me", I discovered that 12 days later.... and if you just wondering about... Yes, I will have a baby!
Today it 10° week I am pregnant.
I've got some problems at the begins of the pregnancy, so my doctor keep me at home from work immediately.
I can't wait to be in the 4th month, so I will be less anxious, for now I'm staying home to rest.

Meanwhile, quietly so as not tired, in those days I have sewn, a little at a time, a diaper bag.
And today I finished, here it is.

Rain, rain, rain....sewing, sewing, sewing!

For this Sunday we had planned to make a barbecue in the garden of my parents, but the weather has not been clement, it was raining all the day, so the barbecue is skipped. To pull me up, this morning I decided to sew a bag just for me. And that's it! I am satisfied with the result and then I decided that if every time it rains is not too bad.

Fabric used: Extra strong Canvas and Amy Butler fabric.

Best selling product?

Yes! I have my one! :)
I've bought a lot of this great Italian Moda fabric time ago in winter, I liked so much the texture, the high cotton quality and the design that I've purchased more than 1 meter, and I have it also in red. (My credit card burnt that month! :))

So, I made and sold at least 3 granny bag from this beautiful black and white fabric, two of them with it's coordinated pouch, the last one (those in the picture) goes to my friend Viviana, that purchase the bag and coordinated as "custom made order" at my Dawanda shop.
She just wrote me to say that she love the bag!

I'm so happy with the result, I love the shape of the Granny Bag, and this fabric seems really made for it!

So I'm feeling as I'm doing well, and I'm fulfilled by the creative ispiration, and of course by the spring! This morning I celebrated my feeling with a big Ice cream and no gym! yeah!
Have a nice week end!
